What our guests say

‘We have had a wonderful stay in Granary Cottage, your first guests after lockdown.  It’s home from home and you have thought of everything.  We were so lucky with the weather and were able to sit and relax in the garden and when it got chilly in the evenings we lit the woodburner.  We will definitely be back’. TJ – April 2021

‘So glad we booked Granary Cottage. Good location for touring the area. 30 mins to Hereford, and only 10 mins to Hay. Lovely countryside surrounds the village of Dorstone. The cottage has everything you will require for your stay. The owners have provided everything you could think of; even down to torches for the short walk back from the pub in the dark. The Pandy serves delicious food from a varied menu, and also real ale. No need to get the car out, just a 2 minute walk.  Thank you Kiki for a super week, and you even provided the weather for us. Hope to see you again.’ ND – September 2019 – publish on Tripadvisor

‘Would thoroughly recommend Kiki’s cottage to anyone – the cottage itself was beautiful and cosy, with plenty of space, a great kitchen and was spotless and well-maintained. Dorstone is a nice quiet village, the pub there did lovely, good value food. There is a bus service which goes through the village and into Hay-on-Wye.  Kiki was a great host, who kindly gave us lots of local tips and provided lots of thoughtful touches, like leaving a supply of logs for the fireplace.’ TD – August 2019 – published on AirBnB

‘We had a lovely stay in this gorgeous cottage, which is bigger than it looks and has excellent facilities.  It is everything you could want for an English country cottage.  Only a few minutes walk to a pub serving delicious food, 12 minutes drive to Hay-on-Wye and 30 minutes to Hereford, as well as being on the local bus route.  It couldn’t be more perfect.’   LE – August 2019 – review published on Tripadvisor

‘Look no further, this Cottage ticks all the boxes! We were very pleasantly surprised at the size of this accommodation it is like the Tardis inside. Every thing you could possibly need is included. You would be advised to bring your basic food stuff as the shops are a fair drive away, about 20 mins. I would place this cottage in the top 3 of places we have rented in the last few years’. LR – April 2019 – review published on Tripadvisor

‘O wow!  Such a lovely place in a friendly village. The owners have added so many thoughtful touches and made the cottage so comfortable. Hard to fault – ok the key entry was stubborn- and I wouldn’t want to. Just love it. The cottage is a wow for me and I want to go again’   SW – March 2019 – review published on Tripadvisor

‘Charming, welcoming cottage with all mod cons.  The views from the upstairs windows are breathtaking.  Dorstone – where time has stood still (far from the madding crowds).  We’ll be back.  GH – March 2019
